Show Racism the Red Card

Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) is the UK’s leading anti-racism educational charity. It was established in January 1996, thanks in part to a donation by then Newcastle United goalkeeper Shaka Hislop.

To show our support for this charity the children wore red on Friday 20th October. In PSHE they learned more about the importance of anti-racism.

We talked about racism is and what it might look like. We all agreed that we don’t have space in our hearts, minds or homes for racism and then talked about how we can love and respect each other instead. We shared what respect might look and sound like in different settings with different people.
We all agreed that everyone deserves respect not matter who they are or where they live.
